ANZ World Commodity Price Index lifts in September

The ANZ World Commodity Price Index rose 1.8% in September versus August, as stronger prices were recorded for all major sectors except forestry.In New Zealand dollar terms the index fell 0.2% after the NZD Trade Weighted Index lifted 1%, said agricultural economist Susan Kilsby. In world price terms, dairy prices lifted 2.3% month-on-month as demand strengthened.
