Kate Scott has been appointed Horticulture NZ’s new chief executive.She is currently the executive director of environmental consultancy Landpro, chairs the New Zealand Rural Leadership Trust and is deputy chair of Thriving Southland.Michelle Sands, HortNZ general manager of strategy and policy, will stand in as interim chief executive until Scott starts on October 17.Scott is taking over from Nadine Tunley, who has led the organisation for three years.
