Lincoln Agritech is forecasting its new $10.4 million Endeavour fund grant will lead to annual returns of more than $200m from wool-based exports by 2040. It's a bold prediction but could help give New Zealand's sheep farmers and downstream wool industry a new lease of life if its research plans bear fruit.Lincoln Agritech is an independent research institute wholly owned by Lincoln University and is focused on applied research. The $10.4m is part of $236m in new science grants from the Endeavour fund announced last month.
