Big pharma is getting into local agri-tech with multinational Merck & Co buying a stake in farm-management software developer FarmIQ.The Kiwi company today announced that MSD Animal Health – a Merck subsidiary – had become a minority shareholder, buying a 13.6 percent stake in the business.
