Fertiliser company Ravensdown will trial a shipment of 5,000 tonnes of phosphate rock from Queensland's Ardmore Mine to help manage the risk of disrupted global supply of the plant nutrient.The rock is now headed by ship to Ravensdown's two South Island superphosphate plants, in Christchurch and Dunedin.Ravensdown's general manager of supply chain, Mike Whitty, said it is "early days", but the Ardmore rock has the potential to form part of the co-operative's nutrient offering, firming up local supply of high-quality ph...
