New Zealand autonomous tractor startup Smart Machine is seeking to raise $2.1 million to switch from making to order to ahead-of-time manufacturing. The aim is to have the machines – known as Oxin – ready to deliver whenever a customer wants to order them.Smart Machine co-founder Andrew Kersley said a funding round with existing investors would close at the end of November but there would be an extension to March in a bid to attract some United States investment. The $2.1m target wasn't big but would allow it to reach...
