A firm that was once granted $40 million to build a film studio on an old horse training facility owned by the Wallace family has folded after a legal dispute.BDO liquidators Andrew McKay and Rees Logan were appointed joint liquidators of Studio New Zealand on June 5.McKay and Logan’s first report, released late last week, said the business was $1.35 million in arrears at the time of liquidation, with $852,000 owed to unsecured creditors and an additional $500,000 tied to shareholder advances.It listed law firms Lee Salmon Long and R...
