Govt set to roll back Labour's tenancy law changes

The coalition government is rolling back changes to tenancy laws introduced by the previous Labour administration.Legislation to amend the Residential Tenancies Act will include reintroducing the power for landlords to end a periodic tenancy for any reason within 90 days.It will also return notice periods for a landlord to end a periodic tenancy to 42 days if they want to move in themselves, their family, or employees, or where the property is subject to an unconditional agreement for sale requiring vacant possession.Landlords will also get bac...
