House price inflation eased marginally in Sept

The pace of house price inflation abated a little in September, but prices were nevertheless still an eye-watering 30.4% higher than in September last year and price inflation outside of Auckland continues to accelerate.The national pace in August had been 31.1%, the Real Estate Institute's house price index shows.Despite the slight fall in the annual pace, the national index still chalked up another record.Ex-Auckland prices were up 34.4% from September last year compared with the 33.8% annual increase in August while prices in Auckland we...
