The average price of buying a house in New Zealand edged closer to $1 million as new data shows the median house price in NZ hit $925,000 last month – a 23.8% annual increase.According to the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ), this is a "new record high" as the median price jumped from $747,000 in November 2020 to $925,000 last month.Meanwhile, Auckland has crossed that million dollar milestone as the median house price in the city of sails jumped by 26.2% annually and now sits at $1.3m – another record accordin...
