Wellington City Council has pulled in Deloitte to manage a wider restructuring of the local authority.Wellington City Council (WCC) chief executive Matt Prosser, who joined the role in late March, sent an email to staff on Aug 7 announcing Deloitte had been commissioned to review the authority's structure.In the email that was shared with BusinessDesk, Prosser said Wellington was facing pressures on multiple fronts, including “ageing infrastructure, a challenging economy and shifting community needs”.Prosser said all local counc...
