Briscoe Group's half-year result has left analysts split, with Forsyth Barr and Jarden heading in opposite directions on target valuations. The retailer, which operates Briscoes Homeware and Rebel Sports stores, reported an 11.8% drop in first-half net profit after tax (npat) to $29.3 million on Wednesday and guided to full-year npat of about $60m.While both Jarden and Forsyth Barr acknowledged the tougher retail backdrop had squeezed margins in investor notes released on Thursday, they parted ways on their target prices.Jarden analyst...
