Cooks Coffee turnaround continues as core business sales rise 23.1%

Coffee is the new tea in the British Isles. That's according to Cooks Coffee Company executive chair Keith Jackson.Sales at Esquires stores, a cafe chain based in Britain and Ireland and Cooks Coffee's core business, are up as the company continues expanding its footprint.In a trading update on the New Zealand Exchange (NZX) for the 22 weeks to September, the company said Esquires' sales rose 23.1% to $28.5 million.  British store sales rose 32.4% to $19.7m, and Ireland store sales were up 6.4% to $8.8m.Shares rose 11% to...
