Couriers have been swamped by unprecedented demand as New Zealanders have turned to online orders to do all their shopping with most physical stores being closed for the last seven weeks.New Zealand Post said it has been receiving around 300,000 parcels a day, volumes usually only seen at Christmas time.“The difference here is that we normally have months to plan and prepare for Christmas, for level 3, we only had days,” NZ Post chief marketing officer Bryan Dobson said.When online retail reopened under level 3, couriers were simult...
