Food delivery competition heats up for summer as Uber Eats expands to regions

United States food delivery giant Uber Eats is expanding its footprint in New Zealand’s regions, adding 12 new locations. Uber Eats said Wednesday the company’s services will be available in Taupō, Masterton, Levin, Whakatāne, Tokoroa, Te Awamutu, Hāwera, Timaru, Blenheim, Ashburton, Ōamaru and Wānaka in early November. The company is also growing its availability in existing regions, adding Paraparaumu and Feilding to its coverage near Wellington and Palmerston North. Uber Eats Aoteroa general manager Andy Bowie said...
