Michael Hill to pay deferred dividend early

Michael Hill International will pay its deferred dividend ahead of schedule as trading conditions improve.Last March, the company deferred its first-half dividend of 1.5 Australian cents a share until Sept. 30, 2020 but then decided to push that out for another year.Today, it said it will pay the dividend on Jan. 29 to shareholders on the register as at March 13, 2020.The company now expects to report first-half group earnings before interest and tax for the six months ended Dec. 27 of A$41 million to A$45 million - an increase of up to 40 perc...
