Former Hallenstein Glasson managing director Mary Devine has been appointed chief executive officer of Foodstuffs South Island.Devine, who was formerly chief executive of Ezibuy and managing director of Ballantynes, will join the business on Nov 8, the supermarket cooperative said in a statement.Foodstuffs South Island chairman Russell McKenzie said the co-op undertook a global search.“Mary has the leadership skills and retail expertise to lead the cooperative into a new phase of excellence in terms of meeting the needs of our customers.&...
