Rod Duke expects Briscoe Group annual net profit to fall

Briscoe Group managing director Rod Duke believes annual net profit could fall between 17% and 9% compared with the prior period.  In a third-quarter trading update, Duke said he expects full-year net profit after tax (npat) to land between $70 million and $77m, versus $84.2m in the year to Jan 28, 2024. Briscoe Group, which owns Briscoes and Rebel Sport stores, already signalled when it released interim earnings in September that it “would not be able to replicate” the 2023 financial year profits. Duke said the range...
