US billionaire Sean Parker has lifted his stake in Weta Digital to 25.7% in the second investment round earmarked for the visual effects firm’s burgeoning animation business and to help blunt the edges of the covid-19 pandemic.Filings to the Companies Office show Parker’s Weta Holdings LLC entity was issued 5.6 million shares on April 30, taking his holding to 13.9m shares, or 25.7% of Weta Digital.That matches the size of the second round of investment flagged in his application to the Overseas Investment Office in July last year....
