The New Zealand Rugby board, in collaboration with the New Zealand Māori Rugby Board and 26 provincial unions, has given the green light to a $62.5 million capital raise through the existing Silver Lake underwrite.The Herald reports this strategic decision will increase Silver Lake’s interest in New Zealand Rugby (NZR) Commercial from 5.71% to 7.5%.NZR will conclude the capital raise process, which has already provided investment to NZR Commercial and stakeholders, including more than 450 community rugby clubs, and rebuilding NZR res...
