For the second consecutive year, New Zealand Rugby has failed to get its financial ball over the line.Rugby union’s governing body in NZ posted a net loss of $8.9 million in the year to Dec 31.Though the figure is a substantive improvement on 2022’s $47.4m deficit, NZ Rugby (NZR) chief executive Mark Robinson said further work is needed to achieve a sustainable financial model.“We know that the game is facing many challenges globally, including financial sustainability, and we're not immune to that,” he sai...
