The stars aligned last week. It was Saturday lunchtime, it was a stunning day and, miraculously, we found parking near the Queenstown wharf.We summarily headed to Soda, a restaurant I’d been to before, but only for business functions.Opened in July, the eatery has picked up a loyal following – backed by local businesses and tourists alike. The upstairs venue, formerly the home of Prime Restaurant, is the tenth in the Republic Hospitality stable.
