Administrators have been appointed to Ruapehu Alpine Lifts (RAL), the owner of two popular central North Island ski fields.A statement on Tuesday said RAL's board appointed John Fisk and Richard Nacey of PwC the administrators of the company.RAL owns and operates the Whakapapa and Tūroa ski fields and employs nearly 200 staff across the two operations.PwC's Fisk said the company had a very difficult last three years, with the impact of covid-19 restrictions and poor weather this season putting the business's cash flow under “s...
