Finder survey says Boomers less keen on EVs

Financial comparison website Finder found 45% of New Zealanders would consider buying an electric vehicle (EV) as their next car.There was a generational disparity between who was and wasn’t willing – 56% of Gen Zers were keen, with Millennials (51%), Gen X (44%) and Baby Boomers (36%) all sitting further back in the willingness stakes. Finder has responses from more than 2,000 people.When it came to why people were not sold on an EV, cost (72%) was overwhelmingly the biggest reason.
