The major fuel companies in New Zealand continue to shuffle the furniture with a new bid to change the ownership of crucial jet fuel supply infrastructure.Mobil Oil NZ, part of the ExxonMobil group of companies, has applied for clearance from the Commerce Commission to buy Z Energy’s stake in the Wiri to Auckland pipeline and the Auckland airport user hydrant installation, used to store jet fuel at the airport.Mobil, BP and Z jointly own the assets, meaning Mobil may become the majority owner if it receives clearance from the commission.T...
