Vista shares climb on 57 gain in operating profit as sales grow faster than costs

By Nikki Mandow Feb. 28 (BusinessDesk) - Vista Group, the cinema software and applications company, posted a 57 percent jump in full-year operating profit as more cinemas bought its products and sales growth ran ahead of costs. Vista shares, which sank to a two-year low last week, jumped 9.8 percent to $2.80. Operating profit rose 57 percent to $20.4 million, the Auckland-based company said in a statement.
