Warehouse beats annual profit forecast, keeps dividend unchanged

By Tina Morrison Sept. 22 (BusinessDesk) - Warehouse Group, known for its flagship 'red shed' discount department stores, beat its annual profit forecast after a better-than-expected second half, and kept its full-year dividend payout unchanged for a third straight year. Adjusted profit fell 7.7 percent to $59.2 million in the 52 weeks ended July 30, from $64.1 million a year earlier, the Auckland-based company said in a statement.
