Oil moved lower, with West Texas Intermediate for March delivery dropping more than 3 percent to US$28.77 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Wall Street followed suit. In 13.09pm trading in New York, the Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 0.7 percent, while the Nasdaq Composite Index retreated 1.1 percent.
