Kathmandu Holdings is a retailer of clothing and equipment targeted at outdoor enthusiasts. The company was established in New Zealand in 1987 and listed on the NZX and ASX in 2009.

In 2019, Kathmandu acquired iconic surf brand Rip Curl, adding 160 global retail store locations to the company’s portfolio. Kathmandu now owns a total of 325 retail stores worldwide and employs over 4,000 people.
