Mercury

Mercury NZ is an electricity generator and retailer servicing residential, commercial and industrial customers throughout New Zealand. Mercury’s energy production is 100% renewable and made up of nine hydro stations and five geothermal plants. The company is currently expanding their energy production with construction of  a new wind farm in the North Island.

Looking to further support the de-carbonisation of the economy, the company has established a research and development centre in South Auckland for solar and battery technologies.

Mercury is listed on both the NZX and ASX. The company appointed Vince Hawksworth as CEO in 2020.
