Summerset has bought its fifth site in Melbourne but this one is in the suburbs, rather than on the city fringes as its other sites are, and it is also much smaller at 1.83 hectares.Summerset's previous site purchase at Craigieburn was 9.76ha and 32 kilometres from Melbourne's central business district (CBD) while the new site at Oakleigh South is 16km from the CBD.The company is planning what's known as a "broad acre" village at Craigieburn and has the same plans for the other three sites.Chief executive Scott Scoullar sa...
