Briscoe Group Limited (NZX/ASX: BGP), announces unaudited sales for the thirteen-week second trading quarter ending 31 July 2022 were 3.49% higher than the same period last year.
Group sales for the first half of the financial year increased by 2.66%, with homeware and sporting goods sales also posting increases of 2.74% and 2.51% respectively.
Despite the ongoing pandemic and economic headwinds faced throughout the period, the Group is on track to overachieve last year's full year net profit after tax.
A dividend is expected to be declared with the half-year results, to be released on 14 September 2022.
