Air New Zealand has reported earnings before taxation of $189 million for the 2025 financial year, down from $222m in the previous year.
The result was at the upper end of the company's guidance range.
Net profit after taxation was $126m.
The airline said the decline in passenger revenue was due to a 4% reduction in overall network capacity, which was a result of engine availability constraints.
Air New Zealand's ASK capacity was down 4%, with up to six narrowbody and five widebody jets grounded.
The airline declared a final unimputed ordinary dividend of 1.25 cents per share and repurchased $38m of shares under a buyback programme.
