Ampol has released its trading update for the third quarter of 2023.
The company reported a 65% increase in unaudited Group Replacement Cost Operating Profit (RCOP) EBIT, reaching $438.2 million compared to the same period last year.
Total fuel sales volume for the group increased by 26%, with Australian fuel sales volume growing by 11%.
The Lytton Refiner Margin (LRM) remained above long-term averages at US$19.69 per barrel.
Convenience retail fuel sales volume decreased by 6.0% on a like-for-like basis compared to the third quarter of the previous year.
Z Energy also experienced an 8.5% increase in fuel sales volume.
