Restaurant Brands has reported strong trading performance in 2021 despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
New Zealand stores saw a +9.1% increase in same store sales, while total store sales increased by $50.7 million or +12.4%.
Australia's total store sales increased by $27.6 million (+13.6%), while Hawaii and California both exceeded expectations.
ESG reporting and initiatives were also highlighted, with the company increasing its emphasis on non-financial performance.
Despite a satisfactory start to the new year, Restaurant Brands is not committing to a profit outcome for the current year due to the uncertainty of the pandemic.
