Asset Plus has declared a special cash dividend of 5 cents per share.
The decision to return capital to shareholders was made after the settlement of 35 Graham St, as the board determined there were no compelling strategic opportunities of sufficient scale at this time.
The dividend, which is eligible for treatment as excluded income for New Zealand income tax purposes, will be attached with imputation credits of 0.0277 cents per share.
Overseas investors will receive an additional supplementary dividend of 0.0126 cents per share to offset non-resident withholding tax.
The record date for the dividend is December 10, 2024, and the payment date is December 18, 2024.
