Cannasouth is set to be delisted from the NZX after the administrators of the company requested the move.
The decision comes after Cannasouth was placed into voluntary administration on March 28, 2024, and is currently under a deed of company arrangement (DOCA).
The company has breached various fundamental listing rule obligations, including the composition requirements for its board and audit committee, as well as the failure to release its audited full-year results and annual report for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.
NZ RegCo, the regulatory arm of NZX, has approved the application to delist Cannasouth, with the delisting scheduled to take place after market close on December 17, 2024.
