Carbon Fund welcomes the Government’s updated ETS changes

The New Zealand government has announced changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) auction settings, including an increase in the auction price floor from $33.06 to $60 in December 2023, and a decrease in the total Cost Containment Reserve (CCR) volume from 8 million NZUs to 7.7 million NZUs in 2024.

These changes, which follow the Climate Change Commission's recommendations from 2022, are welcomed by Salt Investment Funds Limited, the manager of the Carbon Fund.
