Data centre operator, CDC, has secured over 110 megawatts (MW) of new customer contracts in Australia and New Zealand.

The contracts, from both new and existing customers, will support CDC's capacity growth and development plans.

They include the expansion of existing data centre footprints as well as the construction of new facilities.

The company said the contracts have a phased delivery schedule over the next three years and will also extend its weighted average lease expiry.

This latest announcement brings CDC's total contracted capacity to over 200MW in the past 12 months, including reservations and rights of first offer.

In addition, CDC has already commenced construction of 265MW of capacity and expanded its future build capacity.
