CDL Investments New Zealand has acknowledged CDL Hotels Holdings New Zealand's notice of intention to make a takeover offer for Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand.
MCK, which holds approximately 65% of the shares in CDI.
However, CDI clarified that the offer is not for CDI and that CDLHH NZ intends for CDI to remain a listed entity.
As a result, no action is required from CDI's shareholders in relation to the takeover notice for MCK.
