Challenging year for Barramundi

Barramundi Limited (NZX:BRM) has reported a net loss of $34.6 million for the year ended June 2022, following a record net profit of $52.3 million in the previous year.

The challenging year saw Total Shareholder Return (TSR) of -23.5%, Adjusted Net Asset Value (NAV) return of -16.2%, and a dividend return of +7.1%.

The result was largely due to losses on investment of $36.4 million, as well as dividend, interest and other income of $3.8 million, less operating expenses, fees and tax of $2.0 million.

The company declared a dividend of 1.36 cents per share, payable on 23 September 2022.
