Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited has announced the achievement of several new milestones at Korella South, an exploration area in Queensland, Australia.

This includes the pegging of the first 18 drill-holes sites, the grading of 6km of access tracks, and the establishment of drill pad areas.

The first drilling program is expected to be completed by the end of July and the Pre-Feasibility study for the 2 million tonnes per annum Korella South export mine is expected to be completed by September 2023.

The area is highly prospective for both rock phosphates and rare earths.
