Chatham Rock Phosphate Limited CEO Chris Castle, accompanied by Cloncurry-based Executive Director Colin Randall and Field Manager Maurice March, visited the Korella sites in Australia last week.
They were joined by Lindsay Crutch from consulting firm WSP to assist in the Mining Lease Application for Korella North and lead the Pre-Feasibility Study for the 2Mtpa Korella South project.
During the visit, they inspected the sites for the Cloncurry Distribution Hub and Korella MCP’s monocalcium phosphate plant.
Chris Castle commented on the proximity of the railway to the sites, which he believes provides a huge competitive advantage.
