Chorus chief executive JB Rousselot will step down from his position on April 15 2024, the company announced today.

Rousselot's departure was revealed in Chorus' half-year financial results.

Chief operating officer Mark Aue has been appointed as the new chief executive, effective from the same date.

Chorus' half-year result for the period ending on December 31 2023, along with the relevant documents, have also been released.

Rousselot and Aue will discuss the financial results in a webcast at 10am today.

Chorus is a New Zealand telecommunications infrastructure company.
