Rakon has announced the appointment of Christopher Swasbrook as a non-executive director, effective from October 28, 2025.
The company said Swasbrook will be an independent director.
Rakon chair, Lorraine Witten, said Swasbrook's extensive experience in finance and governance roles in New Zealand was a valuable addition to the board.
Swasbrook has been a board member of the Financial Markets Authority since 2019 and has also served on the NZX Listing Subcommittee and the New Zealand Markets Disciplinary Tribunal.
Following his appointment, Rakon's board now comprises six directors, four of whom are independent.
Swasbrook will put himself forward for election at the next annual meeting.
