Investment trust company, The City of London Investment Trust, has reported a 6.5% increase in net asset value per ordinary share for the half-year ended Dec 31 2023.
The company's net asset value per share rose to 401.7p, compared to 385.2p on June 30 2023.
It also declared a dividend of 10.1p per share for the six-month period.
However, the trust's share price was trading at a discount of 0.6% to net asset value as of Feb 13 2024.
The City of London Investment Trust's objective is to provide long-term growth in income and capital through investment in equities listed on the London Stock Exchange.
