Comvita has acknowledged a corrective statement issued by founder and shareholder, Alan Bougen, regarding comments made to the media about the proposed scheme of arrangement with Florenz.
The company encouraged shareholders to carefully consider the information provided in the scheme booklet, including the directors' recommendation and the independent adviser's report.
The board reiterated its unanimous recommendation for shareholders to vote in favour of the scheme, in the absence of a superior proposal.
