Equifax affirms General Finance BB- rating

General Capital (GEN:NZ) subsidiary, General Finance, has been affirmed a BB- credit rating by Equifax Australasia Credit Rating Pty Ltd.

Chairman of Directors Rewi Bugo said the affirmation was a positive for the Group's long-term strategy.

Managing Director Brent King noted that investors are increasingly taking credit ratings into account, and that General Finance's Reserve Bank of New Zealand license is a strong positive.
