Fonterra Co-operative farmers have given the green light to the Flexible Shareholding structure proposed by the Co-operative, with 85.16% of total farmer votes in support of the proposal.
Nine resolutions at the Co-operative's Annual Meeting have also been passed, all with favourable results above 80%.
The Board and Management are now focused on delivering strategic commitments, while continuing to work with the Government on the necessary steps to implement the new structure.
