Fonterra has provided an update on its forecast earnings for the 2024/25 financial year, anticipating them to be in the upper half of the previously announced range of 40-60 cents per share.
The co-op also revealed a midpoint of $10.00 per kilogram of milk solids for the 2024/25 farmgate milk price.
Fonterra's forecast milk collections have been revised up to 1,510 million kgMS, attributed to favourable weather conditions.
The company's chief executive, Miles Hurrell, said the strong demand for high-value ingredients products had driven its earnings momentum.
Fonterra will release its interim results for the 2025 financial year on March 20.
